Job Description Why is This a Great Opportunity. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting leader with strong Sage Intacct expertise to step into a short-term, high-impact assignment. The role will focus on improving the use of Sage Intacct, strengthening reporting capabilities, and helping establish more effective inventory processes.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys identifying gaps, creating practical solutions, and leaving behind improved processes and reporting. The position is hybrid and is expected to run for approximately three months. Job Description: We are seeking an Interim Controller to provide accounting leadership and hands-on support during a three-month contract assignment.

This individual will focus heavily on optimizing Sage Intacct, developing reporting, and improving inventory-related accounting processes. The Interim Controller will evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement practical solutions that improve the accuracy and usability of financial and inventory information. Key Responsibilities Evaluate current use of Sage Intacct and identify opportunities to improve system functionality and reporting.

Create and enhance financial and operational reports within Sage Intacct. Develop and implement processes related to inventory management and accounting. Review and clean up existing inventory records to improve accuracy and completeness.

Enter and maintain new inventory within Sage Intacct. Establish consistent procedures for inventory tracking, reporting, and reconciliation. Review accounting data and identify discrepancies or process gaps.

Work with internal stakeholders to gather information and resolve inventory-related issues. Provide guidance on best practices for utilizing Sage Intacct more effectively. Document processes and procedures to support continued use of improved workflows.

Support general accounting and financial reporting activities as needed. Provide recommendations to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting. Perform other related duties as needed during the interim assignment.

Qualifications: Required Qualifications Previous experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar accounting leadership role. Strong hands-on experience with Sage Intacct. Demonstrated ability to develop and improve financial reporting within an ERP system.

Experience with inventory accounting, inventory reconciliation, or inventory management processes. Experience cleaning up and maintaining accounting or inventory data. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to identify process gaps and implement practical improvements.

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and managing a short-term project with defined priorities.
