Responsibilities

CBIZ is seeking a Sage Intacct Support Specialist to provide exceptional post-implementation support to our Sage Intacct clients. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor and technical resource, helping clients resolve issues, optimize system performance, and maximize the value of their Sage Intacct investment.

The Support Specialist will work closely with clients, consultants, account managers, implementation teams, and Sage support resources to troubleshoot complex issues, provide guidance on best practices, and ensure a positive client experience. This role requires strong technical expertise in Sage Intacct, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients achieve their business objectives.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

Client Support & Issue Resolution

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client support requests and inquiries.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Sage Intacct application, configuration, and process issues.
  • Respond to support tickets within established service level expectations.
  • Document support activities, resolutions, and recommendations within the support management system.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams or Sage support resources when necessary.
  • Follow issues through resolution and communicate progress effectively to clients.

Client Success & Relationship Management

  • Develop trusted relationships with assigned clients and key stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on Sage Intacct functionality, best practices, and process optimization opportunities.
  • Support client health reviews and identify opportunities to improve system utilization.
  • Assist clients in maximizing the value of their Sage Intacct investment.
  • Contribute to high levels of client satisfaction and retention through responsive and proactive support.

Functional & Technical Expertise

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Sage Intacct modules, features, and capabilities.
  • Research and evaluate new Sage Intacct functionality and product enhancements.
  • Assist clients with reporting, dashboards, workflows, and configuration changes.
  • Support testing and validation activities related to system updates and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with implementation and consulting teams on client transition and ongoing support needs.

Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement

  • Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and client-facing materials.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues and clients.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance the support experience.
  • Participate in training and professional development activities to maintain product expertise.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the support organization.

Collaboration

  • Partner with account management, consulting, implementation, and development teams to ensure client success.
  • Coordinate with Sage support resources as needed to resolve complex client issues.
  • Participate in internal meetings and discussions regarding client support trends and opportunities for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Sage Intacct consulting, implementation, or support experience
  • Deep knowledge of Sage Intacct core financials and related modules
  • Strong understanding of ERP best practices and business process improvement
  • Experience supporting clients and resolving application, process, and reporting issues
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working directly with finance, accounting, and operational stakeholders
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly guidanceProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Business, or related field preferred
  • Sage Intacct certifications strongly preferred
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 3 years of experience in related field

  • Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses

  • Must be able to work in a team environment

  • Competence in presentation to effectively communicate information to diverse audience using visual aids, verbal delivery and engaging presentation techniques.

  • Proficient use of applicable technology

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally

  • Must be able to travel based on client and business need
