Your New Role
Partner with WBA Production Management and other Service Depts. to Process Accounts Payable and Freelance invoices for Series, Long form and Shorts in all phases of Development & Production.
Your Role Accountabilities
  • Responsible for multiple series and long form productions. Review Contracts, Smartsheets, Schedules, Talent Agreements, SOW's, Purchase Orders, Inter-Company transactions.
  • Process Local 839 homework payments for Artists. Partner with Production Management or Contract Admin to submit all necessary documents to WFA/Global Payroll. Submit tickets to Service desk to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Review Overseas animation vendor contracts. Review vendor portal for smooth payment processing. Process milestone invoices according to SOW. Research and resolve outstanding payment issues.
  • Process all invoices for Post Production and Music payments. Review Purchase Orders and Contracts / SOW. Resolve mismatches and payment issues.
  • Update and maintain payment trackers and outstanding commitments.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years previous accounting experience required.
  • 2 years previous TV production accounting or animation accounting background strongly preferred.
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Must have understanding of foreign exchange calculations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including Excel and Smart Accounting or PSL
  • Knowledge of SAG, and IA pay practices preferred (IA 839 and IA 700)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully.
  • Must have professional demeanor and possess the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to details.
  • Must have the ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Must have the ability to work well under time constraints and prioritize assignments.
  • Must have excellent follow-through and ability to find and utilize all resources available.
  • Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
