Job description

Description:

Lead the Way to Intelligent Banking with Us!

You might not think about what happens behind the scenes when you check your bank balance or deposit a check from your phone, but we do. Every day.

Kinective empowers banks and credit unions to move beyond keeping up with technology to shaping the future of banking. Our platform seamlessly connects the right tools, delivers real-time data, and drives smarter operations for more than 4,000 financial institutions nationwide. We are a fast-growing team built on individual ownership, company-wide collaboration, and setting industry-leading standards. Here, new ideas are encouraged, candid feedback is welcomed, and your growth truly matters as much as the company’s. At Kinective, we are leading the way to intelligent banking together and enjoying the journey along the way.

Why This Role Matters

Every role at Kinective exists to move the needle for our clients, partners, and the financial institutions we serve. As the IT Manager - US, you will run day-to-day U.S. IT operations and serve as the missing management layer, enabling the organization to achieve scale with less friction and less risk.

You will take ownership of daily execution standards, service coordination, and operational decision making and partner with support, systems engineering, security, and business site leaders to turn priorities into scalable results that drive success for both Kinective and our clients.

What you’ll own

· Decide day-to-day operational routing, local service priorities, execution standards, and manager-level escalation handling across the U.S. support model.

· Manage day-to-day incident, problem, change, procurement, capacity, performance, and service execution for U.S. IT staff and partners.

· Drive ticketing discipline, service consistency, and follow-through across distributed support work covering four office locations, including headquarters.

· Own IT onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors, including account readiness, equipment coordination, access timing, and recovery of company assets.

· Manage endpoint lifecycle activities including hardware standards, ordering, provisioning coordination, deployment, refresh, recovery, and disposal.

· Coordinate equipment ordering, shipping, and drop-ship logistics to support remote and onsite personnel in a timely and controlled manner.

· Manage IT procurement operations, including hardware and software purchasing workflows, vendor access coordination, and operational purchasing controls.

· Own software license management, license reconciliation, and renewal readiness to improve compliance, utilization, and cost control.

· Manage asset lifecycle practices across intake, assignment, inventory accuracy, recovery, and disposition.

· Manage systems engineering coordination, local service execution, and operational handoffs between support, infrastructure, security, and business site leaders.

How We’ll Measure Success

· Stable and consistent service execution across U.S. offices, with clear ownership, disciplined escalation handling, and improved responsiveness.

· Operational processes for incident, change, problem, procurement, onboarding, offboarding, and asset recovery that are timely, repeatable, and well-controlled.

· Improved reporting accuracy and visibility across metrics, SLAs, ticket hygiene, license position, asset status, and service delivery trends.

· Practical improvements in automation, staffing alignment, vendor performance, and cost control informed by day-to-day operating data.

Success here isn’t about checking boxes – it’s about propelling Kinective’s mission to lead the way to intelligent banking. You must bring excellence to your craft, balance resourcefulness with respect, share and celebrate unique expertise and diverse perspectives, and continuously raise the bar as we innovate and grow.

Requirements:

Necessary Qualifications & Competencies

· Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

· 7+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, service delivery, or technical support leadership roles.

· 3+ years of experience leading or coordinating the day-to-day work of IT support and/or infrastructure teams in a multi-site environment.

· ITIL, service management, project management, or related certifications are a plus.

· Proficiency in …

· Experience with IT procurement, hardware lifecycle management, software licensing, vendor management, and operational budgeting support.

· Required: hands-on experience with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows in an IT context, including the ability to identify and manage risks around safe AI usage.
