Compensation: $130,000 base + 20% annual bonus (paid quarterly)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
General Information

  • Department: Procurement / Operations
  • Travel: Monthly travel required (including occasional overnight)
About the Role
DRG is seeking a highly driven National Procurement Manager to build and lead a centralized procurement function across a growing, decentralized organization. This is a high-impact role responsible for bringing structure, visibility, and cost discipline to purchasing activities nationwide.
You will combine hands-on execution, data-driven analysis, and process development to optimize supplier performance, improve pricing consistency, and drive measurable savings across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Execution
  • Establish and lead a centralized procurement function in a decentralized environment
  • Drive pricing consistency, rebate capture, and purchasing discipline
  • Manage sourcing initiatives and ongoing procurement governance
  • Centralize spend across materials, PPE, safety, and supplies

Supplier Management & Negotiation
  • Lead sourcing events to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms
  • Negotiate national/regional agreements, rebates, and payment structures
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships, including participation in QBRs
  • Ensure adherence to preferred supplier programs

Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop reporting for price variance, supplier performance, and savings tracking
  • Identify inefficiencies, leakage, and non-standard buying practices
  • Improve visibility into purchasing activity across all locations
  • Maintain purchase history, category analytics, and supplier insights

Process Development & Governance
  • Design and implement procurement processes where none exist today
  • Establish governance for rebate tracking and accountability
  • Address data quality issues impacting visibility and performance
  • Standardize procurement workflows across the organization

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with GMs, project teams, and operations leaders
  • Provide real-time support for ordering, issue resolution, and supplier coordination
  • Reduce procurement burden at the local level
  • Expand procurement coverage into additional categories (travel, hotels, etc.)
Qualifications
Required:
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
  • Experience with supplier negotiations, cost modeling, and TCO analysis
  • Strong communication and ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, low-structure environment
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems and openness to leveraging AI tools

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • Construction or commercial industry experience (roofing not required)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Combination of office and field work, including active construction sites
  • Frequent walking, climbing ladders, and site inspections
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Exposure to weather conditions and construction environments
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures
Schedule & Travel
  • Monday-Friday standard business hours
  • Additional hours may be required based on business needs
