A Manager Implementation Science is a professional who leads and coordinates projects that translate scientific research into practical applications, particularly in healthcare, public health, or organizational settings. Their role involves overseeing teams, designing strategies to implement evidence-based practices, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring interventions are effectively integrated into real-world environments. They often bridge the gap between research and practice by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing data, and promoting continuous improvement. This position requires strong leadership skills, expertise in implementation science methodologies, and experience in project management.

This role is ideal for someone who's technically savvy and thrives in a cross-functional environment, working with clients, developers, product managers, and account teams.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to guide client-specific setup and customizations
  • Own the configuration of the software, including hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and QA.
  • Write and maintain customer-facing documentation, onboarding guides, and technical FAQs
  • Support ongoing solution maintenance, including troubleshooting and small enhancements post-launch
  • Conduct discovery sessions and implementation workshops with clients
  • Use and query PostgreSQL databases to support data migrations, diagnostics, and QA
  • Serve as a bridge between client needs and product evolution - gather feedback and contribute to feature prioritization
  • Help triage and resolve technical support issues alongside the support team
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years experience in technical implementation, solutions engineering, professional services, SaaS customer success, or similar roles
  • Strong project management skills - ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Experience
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases (writing queries, inspecting data, understanding schemas)
  • Comfort working in and across SaaS platforms, including familiarity with APIs, integrations, and configuration
  • Clear and confident communicator - capable of translating technical concepts into user-friendly language
  • Experience writing documentation or how-to guides for end users
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, client-facing environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in recruiting technology or HR systems (e.g., ATS, CRM, onboarding tools)
  • Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, or integration platforms like Zapier or Workato
  • Familiarity with HTML
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Lookr, Data Studio, Tableau, etc)
What We Offer:
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • 2, 1-week shutdowns per year
  • Paid holidays
  • Company paid medical, dental & vision insurance
  • Strong work-life balance
