Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in Association Management Systems (AMS) to lead the design and evolution of enterprise technology solutions that support membership organizations. This role is responsible for aligning business strategy with technology architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and integrated solutions across membership, events, certifications, finance, fundraising, and digital engagement platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud technologies, and modern application design, combined with hands-on experience implementing or supporting leading AMS platforms such as iMIS, Personify, Fonteva, Nimble AMS, NetForum, or similar solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the organization's enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • Define architecture principles, standards, and governance processes.
  • Lead current-state and future-state architecture assessments across business, application, data, and technology domains.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve business capabilities.
  • Establish enterprise data architecture supporting member-centric data management.
  • Define master data management strategies.
  • Promote data governance, data quality, metadata management, and analytics capabilities.
  • Ensure consistent reporting across membership and operational systems.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into enterprise solutions.
  • Mentor solution architects and technical teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture.
  • 5+ years working with Association Management Systems.
