Job description

We are Lockheed Martin
You will be a Software Engineer Staff for the Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) team. Our team is responsible for supporting the ground systems maintenance of the F-22 aircraft. IMIS hardware/software connects to the aircraft automating numerous processes to improve maintenance performance and reduce management, supervisory, and technical overhead.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineering Staff you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and coordinating software development activities. Your responsibilities will include:
Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems
Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications
Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities
Ensures software standards are met
