Description
Primary Responsibilities
Sets machine controls to regulate clamping pressure and speeds.
General machine/area housekeeping for safety and adherence to our 5S policy.
Cycles-in machine and examines samples parts for defects such as flash, sinks, shorts, splay, cracks and closed holds.
Adjusts machine set up to eliminate defects.
Arranges work area and assists in the set up of auxiliary equipment as required.
Verifies that all molding parameters such as pressures, timers, water temperatures and machine heats are properly set.
Assists with set up of molds as needed.
Develop process settings that ensure dimensional stability and material integrity.
Maintains a safe working environment.
Conduct forensic root-cause analysis of molding or material issues using data and analytical tools.
Support tooling design reviews to ensure molds align with processing requirements.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for process validation and continuous improvement.
Performs other duties as assigned.
