Job description

Description

Position Overview

  • Create thoughtful, experience-driven environments that respond to each project's history, context, audience, guest experience, and operational needs.

Project Design Execution & Documentation

  • Support project design from early concept through design development, documentation, procurement, installation, and project closeout.
  • Create and coordinate interior design drawing packages including plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, interior details, finish schedules, FF&E plans, specifications, and presentation drawings.
  • Maintain accurate project material palettes, finish schedules, specification packages, cut sheets, and sample boards.

  • Participate in client presentations, design meetings, vendor meetings, site visits, construction walkthroughs, and installation reviews as needed.
  • Support construction administration by reviewing submittals and finish samples, responding to design-related questions, documenting site observations, tracking open items, and assisting with punch-list review.

Vendor, Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with team members and external partners.
  • Flag issues early, bring forward solutions, and follow through until items are resolved.
  • Build productive relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and vendors to support design intent, quality standards, schedules, and operational requirements.

Studio Operations & Design Excellence

  • Contribute to the organization and ongoing development of the material library, vendor relationships, design resources, and internal standards.
