Job description

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A CONTROLLER

8-hour shifts / Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm

Competitive compensation up to $120,000.00/annually

Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?

Lead the financial operations of a 161-bed behavioral hospital while partnering directly with the CFO to influence strategic decision-making, operational performance, and long-term growth.

  • Consult with the CFO regarding the facility’s financial affairs, revenue cycle, financial reporting, and the development of operating policies and procedures, and financial goals and objectives.
  • Manage the facility's overall revenue cycle and general accounting operations in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide analysis of facility income, expenditures, and revenue risk with comparison to previous periods.
  •  Implement and enforce policies and procedures as directed by the CFO and adapt processes to changing needs.
  • Prepare the month-end closing documents and analysis.
  • Ensure the accurate preparation and review of daily and bi-weekly analyses related to revenue cycles, staffing, and general spending.
  • Consult with the Chief Financial Officer on audit and reconciliation findings.
  • Reconciliation of the census, balance sheet, and other key operational metrics.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

  • Education & Licensure: Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Experience: A minimum of one (1) year as a Controller in a psychiatric healthcare setting, with experience in managing multiple functions in a healthcare business office preferred.
  • Additional Skill Requirements: Thorough knowledge of computers, with experience utilizing healthcare-based computer systems and commonly accepted business software applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Knowledgeable of GAAP.

Compensation:
