Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT at Harbor Therapy Center, your primary duties will encompass the following:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of couples and family dynamics followed by devising customized treatment plans.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions with couples while addressing individual concerns through one-on-one meetings.
  • Providing specialized support for issues such as alcohol abuse, grief, conflicts among family members, job stress, and communication difficulties, among others.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide families through challenges associated with blended families, separation, and divorce.
  • Regularly reviewing treatment plans and making necessary adjustments to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of sessions and progress while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will serve diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. You'll assist clients from various demographics, providing therapy that addresses the specific needs of people navigating through marital discord, familial strain, or individual mental health issues.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and patient care.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills essential for building rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience
