Reports To: Team Lead and TCM Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a TCM Plant Operator and play a critical role in delivering high-quality products that keep our operations running smoothly. You'll operate advanced equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure safety and efficiency on every shift. If you're mechanically inclined, tech-savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate & Monitor Equipment: Set up, run, and adjust TCM plant machinery following SOPs to maintain optimal production rates and quality standards. Monitor equipment performance, output quality and production rates. Perform routine changeovers, startups and shutdowns.
  • Troubleshoot & Maintain: Perform basic mechanical diagnostics and minor repairs on motors, pumps, valves, and other components. Assist with preventive maintenance and adhere to lockout/tagout safety protocols.
  • Ensure Quality & Safety: Conduct in-process quality checks, maintain a clean and organized workspace, follow 6S/lean manufacturing standards and report any safety concerns or process deviations immediately.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in Kaizen activities, suggest process enhancements, and help train new team members.

Qualifications
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, rotating equipment) and ability to use basic hand tools. Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting. Complete minor repairs and adjustments within operator scope. Assist maintenance team during preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs.
  • Tech Skills: Comfortable with data entry and basic computer applications; experience with production software is a plus.
  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required; 1-3 years in manufacturing or plant operations preferred. Technical certifications are a bonus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 80 lbs. (with assistance as needed). Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and dust.
