Job description

Works under limited supervision, uses some discretion and applies policies and procedures prescribed by supervisor and/or the department or hospital, takes only unusual problems to supervisor for decision. Limited authority, acts after informing superior, especially when actions are unusual. Phlebotomist adheres to the principles, philosophy and mission of Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in all aspects of job performance.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting
  • BLS/CPR Certification required
  • Skilled at multitask abilities, detail oriented self starter and self managed. Legible handwriting. Maintains self with professionalism at all times.
