Job Description
The STARZ Program Management Office (PMO) is seeking a Project Management Intern. The STARZ PMO manages small to large projects across the enterprise including technology, product, HR, Finance, and Accounting. This intern will be learning and utilizing STARZ PMO processes, tools and methodology while shadowing senior level project managers to eventually manage a small project. Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence) preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Shadow senior project manager to gain the knowledge to run their own project at STARZ.
  • Plan and execute a small project end to end under the supervision of senior project managers.
  • Set up project in PMO tools and establish communication channels.
  • Create and distribute a weekly project status report to stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver a final presentation that shows what was learned and recommendations for PMO Project Methodology improvements.
  • Support additional project activities as needed to meet team objectives.

Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of various project methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized.

Compensation Data
The pay rate for this internship is $20/hr.

The STARZ Summer 2026 Internship program dates are: June 15, 2026 - August 21, 2026
All interns are required to attend orientation on Monday, June 15, 2026.
Details
  • Regular business hours are 9 AM - 6 PM Monday-Thursday and Friday 9 AM - 1 PM
  • Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
  • Interns must be enrolled in a college or university and classified as rising juniors or seniors
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
  • All internships are paid
