Overview:
As the Rebar Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the rebar office operations within the organization. Your role will involve managing a team of professionals, coordinating projects, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. This role is in conjunction with his/her day-to-day operations as a project manager as well. You will play a crucial role in driving the department's success and contributing to the overall objectives of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of rebar professionals.
- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Review, negotiation, and execution of written contract and purchase orders.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  1. Project Management:

- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of rebar projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, detailers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Assure that all change orders are identified, captured, and executed
-Assure that all RFI's are properly issued, followed up upon, filed, distributed, documented, and priced if applicable.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  1. Quality Assurance:

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess workmanship, materials, and compliance with specifications.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and improve performance.
  1. Resource Management:

- Allocate resources effectively to support project requirements and meet production targets.
- Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
  1. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate project requirements and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate with management to address and resolve all customer concerns and complaints.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to senior management on departmental performance, projects status, and strategic initiatives.
  1. Sales and Business Development:

- Working closely with Director of Sales with Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to develop targeted sales initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or related field. (Preferred)
- Proven experience in rebar operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of rebar techniques, materials, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of aSa Studio software (Preferred)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English is a plus.
