In the role of Project Manager General, we'll count on you to: 
 

  • Plan and manage all aspects of asset management projects including building and infrastructure assessments; real property and space use; energy systems and use; installed equipment; and real estate features through research, on-site surveys, and interviews. Manage, support, train, and works with field project teams to gather information at client sites from multiple sources and determine sustainment, restoration, and modernization requirements according to Department of Defense guidelines.

  • Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's planning and execution

  • Establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, and deliverable production meetings supporting contractual requirements

  • Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for compliance

  • Conduct work sessions for deliverable development and contract documents in conjunction with other staff

  • Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of data and documents on schedule, development and implementation of quality management processes, and integration of lessons learned into current and future client deliverables.

  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule

  • Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed

  • Develop technical approaches, work breakdown structures, fee proposals, internal budget forecasts, workflows, risk management plans, and performance recovery plans to ensure business objectives are achieved

  • Travel as needed to client sites with facilities management and maintenance professionals to coordinate data collection, assimilation of data, and facilities management assistance to client stakeholders.

  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications 
 
  • A license/certification 
  • PMP certification
  • Experience in advancing digital delivery and AI-supported workflows in infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of CERL's BUILDER SMS Systems
  • Knowledge of industry standard CMMS systems (MAXIMO, Tririga, etc.)

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 7 years related experience
  • A minimum of 2 years  project management experience
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
