Location: Smithtown, NY – hybrid schedule
Compensation: $65,000-$83,000

Position Summary

CFS has partnered with a mission-driven organization to help identify their new Human Resource Recruiter. The Human Resource Recruiter performs HR-related duties at a professional level, with a primary focus on healthcare recruitment and retention activities. This position emphasizes filling patient services vacancies and works closely with the Manager of Talent Acquisition and Affiliate Programs. The Human Resource Recruiter will lead and support all recruitment-related activities while also assisting with other HR functions such as payroll processes and overall department success.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a broad HR Generalist supporting day-to-day human resources operations, including employee lifecycle activities, compliance support, and administrative processes.
• Coordinate and administer onboarding activities, including preparation of offer details, onboarding documentation, personnel file completion, and confirmation of hire dates.
• Facilitate or present New Employee Training sessions on a rotational schedule to ensure consistent orientation and policy awareness.
• Support HRIS data entry and maintenance to ensure accurate employee records and reporting.
• Assist with benefits administration, employee changes, and payroll-related processes in accordance with established procedures.
• Process background checks (criminal, credit, education, etc.) in compliance with organizational policy and applicable regulations.
• Provide support for internal employee transfers and career mobility processes, aligned with organizational workforce planning.
• Collaborate with HR leadership and team members to support additional HR initiatives and projects as workload requires.
• Support the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Desired Qualifications:
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior recruitment experience, ideally in healthcare, with a proven track record in full-cycle recruitment.
• One to two years of experience in Human Resources Management.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
