Job description

Job Summary: The HR Business Partner leads and manages the people related agenda at the internal client.  They  ensure on the delivery of a proactive and customer focused HR service across identified service lines.  HR Buisness Partners give effective support, guidance and advice to managers and staff members.  They help to deliver strategic and operational people projects and initiatives that maximizes performance and enables all employees to engage and contribute to the overall development of the WCHealth Network.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify training needs and works with Workforce Development
  • Assist with New Workforce Orientation
  • Monitor competencies to ensure compliance at hire and annually
  • Contracted Services – maintain relationship with contracted services agency and providers, on-boarding, enters and maintains staff within systems
  • Performance Manager – Ensure evaluations at 90 days and annually are completed and the correct managers are assigned.  Helps with any issues.
  • Work with service lines to collect new/updated Job Descriptions
  • New Hires – Introduction to HR Rep, 30 day touch base, onboarding survey
  • Compensation Review -Work with Compensation and Leadership to review any outstanding issue with compensation
  • Civil Service – work with your service line POC in HR for all civil service needs i.e.: out of title requests
  • Provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans service line restructuring
  • Develop and nurture partnerships through human resources to bridge the divide between management and employee
  • Conduct monthly meetings to check in with each service line- provide detailed reporting on monthly activity to manager
  • Consult regularly with management and provide guidance when appropriate
  • Refer employee relations issues to appropriate team
  • Find ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with the legal department when necessary
  • Interpret human resources policies or handbook to service line management
  • Supports the ASKHR help box

Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience:  2-3 years of Human Resources experience, required

Education:  Bachelors or equivalent work experience required
