  • Holds current Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check
  • Holds appropriate Maine Department of Education/State Certification

Description:
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of theory, methods, techniques, and strategies within the field of social work.
  • Conduct psychosocial evaluations.
  • Develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Contribute at student meetings and staff/family meetings as necessary.
  • Act as liaison for teachers, families and administration as necessary.
  • Facilitate, directly or indirectly, contacts of families and other community-based agencies as necessary.
  • Participate in the devleopment of risk assessments and behavior management plans. Assist in implementing behavior management plans and participate in student crisis management as necessary.
  • Assure appropriate measures are taken to preserve the confidentiality of students and their families.
