Job description

Summary/Objective:

We are seeking a Technical Projects Manager to support projects from early-stage specification through execution and delivery. This role will work closely with architects, customers, and the sales team to develop specifications, provide technical guidance, and take full ownership of projects once awarded.

The ideal candidate has a facade engineering, building envelope, or system-based background and is comfortable operating across both technical and commercial aspects of a project.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support Sales and engage with architects to develop specifications and system solutions
  • Act as a technical expert on product and system applications
  • Help drive projects from concept and design through award
  • Lead project handoff and order entry into SAP
  • Manage coordination across internal teams, vendors, and suppliers
  • Align production schedules and lead times with project requirements
  • Track timelines and ensure on-time delivery
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical or scheduling challenges

Qualifications

  • Background in facade engineering, building envelope, or architectural systems
  • 3–7+ years of experience in a technical or project-based role
  • Must have AutoCAD, BlueBeam, SketchUp and/or Revit experience
  • Strong understanding of specifications, drawings, and system coordination
  • Experience working with architects, consultants, or contractors
  • ERP experience (SAP preferred)
  • Ability to manage projects from design through delivery

Required Education and Experience

  • College degree, and
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training, or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Outlook
  • SAP or other equivalent ERP software knowledge is required
  • Must have experience working on projects with building envelope materials, preference to Kingspan or Morin specific knowledge

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position in office. Days and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel

Occasional or infrequent travel may occur for further training or to enhance customer relations.
