Assistant Marina Manager

Location: Stillwaters Resort - Branson, MO

Employment Type: Full-time, seasonal-to-year-round (weekends/holidays required)

About Stillwaters Resort: Stillwaters Resort is a premier lakeside destination in Branson offering boat rentals, slips, watersports, and hospitality-driven experiences. We pride ourselves on safety, exceptional guest service, and a well-maintained marina environment.

Position Summary: The Assistant Marina Manager supports the Marina Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, safety compliance, and guest service. This role combines hands-on work with administrative tasks to ensure smooth, efficient marina operations and a welcoming experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily marina operations: dock management, boat launches, slip assignments, fueling, and equipment maintenance.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule marina staff, seasonal attendants, and rental teams.
  • Maintain safety standards and enforce marina rules; conduct safety briefings and emergency response when needed.
  • Oversee rental inventory (boats, personal watercraft), perform routine inspections, and coordinate repairs.
  • Handle guest interactions, bookings, check-ins/check-outs, payments, and conflict resolution with professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate logs, inventory records, and incident reports; assist with purchasing and vendor coordination.
  • Support marketing and upsell efforts (lessons, tours, packages) and contribute ideas to improve guest experience.
  • Fill in for Marina Manager as required.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' marina, boating, or hospitality operations experience; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license; boating certification required if applicable by age.
  • Strong customer-service skills, clear communication, and leadership ability.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather and performing physical tasks (lifting, staging equipment).
  • Basic computer skills (POS, reservation systems, email, Microsoft Office).
