Job description

Mythical Games is a Venture-backed game technology company powering the next generation of players, games, and studios. Our goal is to launch exceptional video games that leverage distributed ledger tech while providing a platform that will allow other game developers to do the same.
At Mythical Games, we are proud of our 'People First' culture. We believe that it takes great people and culture to make great products. By treating each other with empathy and respect, we can live fulfilling lives outside our jobs while also creating exceptional work.
We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own product marketing across our growing portfolio. This role will turn what our teams build into clear positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution that lands in a fast-changing, social, and creator-driven landscape.
This role reports directly to the Senior Marketing Manager and serves as a key connection point between Product, Studio, and Marketing teams. Today, the role will support products such as FIFA Rivals and DMarket, with the opportunity to flex across new products, brand, partnerships, and content as the portfolio evolves.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, self-directed marketer who can take an initiative - whether assigned or self-identified - from planning through execution with minimal oversight. Working within the overarching strategy set by the Senior Marketing Manager, this person will anchor in product marketing while also flexing across brand, partnerships, and content as priorities shift.
This role requires strong, experience-driven marketing judgment, the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment, and fluency with AI and modern marketing tools to work efficiently and scale output.
This role is open to candidates based in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, and Texas.
At this time, we are not able to consider candidates located outside of these states for this opening. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.
What You'll Do:
  • Own product marketing across the portfolio, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning.
  • Drive launches end to end, from narrative development through execution.
  • Serve as a connection point between Product, Studio, and Marketing teams, translating product roadmaps into positioning, go-to-market strategy, and launch plans.
  • Initiate or take on product marketing, brand, and partnership initiatives, scoping each into a clear plan and executing end to end.
  • Flex across multiple products and workstreams as priorities and timing shift, applying product marketing rigor across the portfolio rather than to a single title.
  • Shape brand and non-performance marketing, including social-native, creator-style content across owned channels such as blogs, social accounts, and campaigns outside of paid and user acquisition.
  • Activate and help execute brand and licensing partnerships sourced at the studio level, coordinating across internal teams and external partners.
  • Partner closely with Growth and Lifecycle teams to align brand and product marketing with acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Coordinate lifecycle and CRM touchpoints that support launches and partnerships.
  • Provide clear, regular updates on the status and impact of product marketing, brand, and partnership workstreams.

What We're Looking For:
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, with demonstrated product marketing experience across positioning, messaging, and go-to-market.
  • Experience across brand, partnerships, or general marketing, ideally including time in a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently scope, plan, and execute marketing initiatives from concept through delivery with minimal oversight.
  • Strong marketing judgment grounded in hands-on experience, with the ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Fluency with AI tools to drive efficiency and scale output.
  • A genuine self-starter who identifies and drives the right next move rather than waiting to be handed one.
  • Depth in product marketing paired with a generalist's range across brand, partnerships, and content.
  • A feel for social-native, creator-style content and what makes a product socially legible and shareable, even if execution is shared across the team.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Creative, or Studio teams to bring products to market.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities.
  • Background in gaming, entertainment, or consumer products is required.
  • Enterprise software experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual base salary range for this role is $77,000-$106,000 USD.
This range applies to eligible remote locations for this role. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including work location, education, qualifications, competencies, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands.
Base salary is one component of Mythical's total compensation package. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation, including participation in Mythical's Corporate Bonus and Equity Plan, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
Eligible employees may participate in a comprehensive benefits program that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), flexible PTO, paid holidays, parental leave, and additional wellness and work-life benefits.
Application Process:
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. This posting will remain open until the position is filled.
By applying for this role, you acknowledge that Mythical Games may process your personal information for recruitment and hiring purposes in accordance with our Applicant Privacy Notice.
Our team values diversity and believes that it strengthens our games, products, and communities. We strongly encourage POC, folks with disabilities, those belonging to the LGBTQIA+ communities, and people across all gender to apply.
