UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE
The Marketing Manager oversees the strategy, planning, and execution of regional marketing initiatives designed to elevate brand awareness, strengthen CCS’s presence in key markets and sectors, and support regional growth goals. This role serves as both a strategic advisor and hands-on manager, developing and implementing marketing strategies that align with firmwide priorities while coordinating closely with the Business Development team, Corporate Marketing, and other Strategy and Operations functions. The Marketing Manager ensures the region’s marketing infrastructure, systems, and communications are cohesive, efficient, and data-informed, and that the marketing team is equipped to deliver exceptional outputs across all channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Oversight & Execution 
  • Manage all marketing operations and activity tracking in HubSpot and Monday (including budgets, events, publications, campaigns, and social/digital content), ensuring consistent reporting with clear ROI and engagement metrics. 
  • Oversee development and implementation of consistent SOPs and resource libraries across marketing functions. 
  • Serve as regional liaison to Corporate Marketing, ensuring integration across campaigns, communications, and branding. 
  • Manage logistics for marketing activities and events, including conference registrations, collateral, schedules, exhibitor coordination, and speaking proposals. 
  • Track and report on marketing activities, budgets, and ROI through HubSpot in partnership with the Marketing Lead. 
  • Manage contact lists, imports, and data accuracy in HubSpot; support email distribution and campaign reporting. 
  • Prepare and distribute pre- and post-event communications and social content in partnership with Corporate Marketing. 
  • Manage logistics for marketing activities and events, including conference registrations, collateral, schedules, exhibitor coordination, and speaking proposals. 
  • Track and report on marketing activities, budgets, and ROI through HubSpot in partnership with the Marketing Lead. 
  • Manage contact lists, imports, and data accuracy in HubSpot; support email distribution and campaign reporting. 
  • Prepare and distribute pre- and post-event communications and social content in partnership with Corporate Marketing. 
Event, Conference, and Sponsorship Strategy 
  • Identify and prioritize regional conferences, events, and sponsorships that align with business objectives. 
  • Oversee strategy for speaking engagements and sponsorships, ensuring consistent follow-up, pre/post event communications, and social content. 
  • Support development of regional conference/event materials and partnership engagement strategies in collaboration with Business Development. 
  • Coordinate conference and event logistics (booths, sponsorships, travel, materials, speaking submissions). 
  • Draft speaking proposals, manage deadlines, and support content preparation for presenters. 
  • Liaise with nonprofit associations and sector partners for sponsorship and partnership opportunities. 
  • Manage sponsorship logistics, including scheduling calls, tracking payments, and maintaining sponsorship calendars 
Communications & Content 
  • Advise on the approach for distributing corporate-development strategic outreach, publications, and thought leadership materials to the region  
  • Create regional resources and local philanthropic landscapes  
  • Partner with Business Development to develop high-impact materials that advance brand visibility. 
  • Oversee regional digital/social media strategy and ensure consistent alignment with CCS brand voice. 
Collaboration & Cross-Department Partnership 
  • Partner closely with Business Development to align marketing campaigns, events, and outreach with sales priorities and lead pipeline goals. 
  • Collaborate with the Head of Strategy and Head of Operations on firmwide marketing standards, technology adoption, and reporting. 
  • Partner with Corporate Marketing, Content Strategy, and Field Marketers to ensure consistent messaging, design, and delivery across regions. 
Reporting & Process Improvements 
  • Manage and update all relevant trackers and shared files to ensure real-time visibility of marketing activity. 
  • Track engagement metrics for events, sponsorships, and outreach, reporting results to Marketing Lead. 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, creative innovation, and efficiency within marketing workflows. 
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing, business development, or sales enablement  
  • High degree of time management and project management skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Design experience with Canva, PowerPoint, or other similar platforms  
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively  
  • Translate data-driven insights into strategic marketing decisions
