Marketing Coordinator Email & Web

Seattle Boat Company is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support email marketing and website management across our family of marine and lifestyle brands.

This role is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys both creative and technical execution and is comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The position focuses heavily on email campaign production, website updates, digital content management, and marketing coordination.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, time-sensitive, and highly detail-oriented, with a strong interest in outdoor and active lifestyle marketing.


Key Responsibilities

Email Marketing

  • Build, schedule, test, and deploy email marketing campaigns using HubSpot or similar ESP platforms
  • Manage and maintain the email marketing calendar
  • Coordinate campaign assets, audience lists, CTAs, and workflows
  • Draft, proofread, and format email content aligned with brand standards
  • Assist with audience segmentation and database organization
  • Execute A/B testing to improve engagement and conversion performance
  • Monitor campaign metrics including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
  • Prepare regular performance reports and recommendations


Website Management & Digital Content

  • Maintain and update website content across multiple brand websites
  • Create and update landing pages, banners, forms, and promotional content
  • Upload and optimize images and digital assets
  • Conduct regular website QA for formatting issues, broken links, and content accuracy
  • Support basic SEO implementation including metadata, alt text, and on-page optimization
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and overall user experience quality
  • Format, publish & distribute press releases and blog content using established templates and SEO/AEO guidelines


Additional Marketing Support

  • Assist with event marketing and promotional coordination
  • Support light social media scheduling and content updates
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign execution and digital initiatives


Team Collaboration

  • Communicate proactively with leadership to ensure tasks stay on track and priorities remain clear
  • Coordinate with on-site and remote teams while staying aligned with the broader marketing department

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • 13 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, website management or related roles
  • Experience with HubSpot, Mailchimp, WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or similar platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong independent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work independently within established systems and direction
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Passion for being outdoors and on the water
  • Experience boating

Working Style

Compensation
