Job description

Role Overview:
The Client Account Manager is responsible for owning the success, growth, and retention of assigned client accounts. This role serves as the primary relationship owner post-sale while proactively identifying and driving revenue expansion opportunities. The position requires a balance of client relationship management, consultative selling, and internal coordination to ensure clients receive maximum value from Yellow Dog Software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of client accounts, including expansion revenue and retention
  • Proactively identify, develop, and close upsell opportunities
  • Maintain consistent outreach to clients through calls, emails, and meetings
  • Conduct regular account reviews to drive product adoption and long-term success
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication
  • Prepare proposals and contracts with clear, accurate expectations
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and next steps in CRM
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support client needs and initiatives
  • Identify risks within accounts and take action to support retention
  • Answering and responding to existing client sales inquiries via phone and email
  • Learn Yellow Dog product and offerings in order to provide needs assessments with clients
