Job description

About the Role:
EPC Aerospace Aircraft Maintenance Services LLC is looking for a detail-driven Quality Inspector to join our Aviation MRO team in Orlando, FL. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the safety, airworthiness, and compliance of aircraft maintenance operations. Responsibilities:
  • Inspect aircraft components, systems, and structures to verify compliance with FAA regulations and OEM specifications
  • Review and sign off on maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) work orders and documentation
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on aircraft parts and assemblies
  • Identify non-conformances and initiate corrective action reports (CARs) as required
  • Ensure all work performed meets applicable airworthiness directives (ADs) and service bulletins (SBs)
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality control documentation in compliance with FAA Part 145 requirements
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians and production teams to resolve quality discrepancies
Requirements:
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate required
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) or prior QC Inspector experience in an FAA Part 145 repair station preferred
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, including FAR Parts 43, 65, and 145
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical data
  • Minimum 3–5 years of aviation maintenance or quality control experience
  • Familiarity with aviation quality management systems and non-destructive testing (NDT) a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced MRO environment
