Job description

Architectural Project Manager - Immediate Opportunity.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating a team effort to complete projects promptly and successfully.
  • Overseeing the development of the architectural design, and the production of the construction documents, including specifications.
  • Coordinating the needs of the client, support staff, and outside consultants such as structural, civil, and mechanical engineers, as well as interior designers and landscape architects.
  • Managing the design process from conception to construction administration to ensure consistency of design intent.
  • Ensuring compliance of construction detail documentation to quality control and best practices.
  • Maintaining client communications and relationships.
  • Performing project research.
  • Reviewing the accuracy of calculations, estimates, plans, and completed reports.
  • Contacting municipal building department and government agency officials to assist with project approvals.
  • Interacting with building officials during the project permitting and construction phases.
  • Monitoring the preparation of technical drawings prepared by less senior staff.
  • Attending field reviews, on-site meetings, and project meetings.
  • Reviewing shop drawings.
  • Drafting observation reports during project close-out efforts.
  • Completing incidental work or other office functions that are necessary to get projects completed.

Requirements:
  • Minimum  4 years proven related work experience, especially with multifamily and mixed-use buildings.
  • Solid written, graphic, and verbal communication skills.
  • High-level CAD and Revit skills. 
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Interior Design experience is a plus.
