WHO YOU ARE:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Appian Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of process-centric business solutions using Appian BPM software. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze customer environments, understand program goals, and translate project requirements into effective, future-state business processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The developer will be responsible for building complex flows and triggers, automating business processes, and supporting data integration and migration efforts. Additional responsibilities include assist managing user story backlogs and implementing change requests in collaboration with stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Appianbased business process management (BPM) solutions that meet client requirements and align with industry best practices.
  • Help develop and maintain complex workflows, triggers, and automation processes.
  • Create and update APIs
  • Support database design best practices and support data migration
  • Assist maintaining a user story backlog in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and implement change requests and enhancements.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and availability at both the system and component levels.
  • Provide consulting support and guidance to clients and internal teams
  • Partner with Scrum Masters and team members to deliver solutions on time using Agile methodologies
  • WHAT WE REQUIRE:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Clearance Level: Public Trust
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree, preference for Information Technology, or related field (or 10+ years equivalent work experience)
  • 12 years of Appian development experience with an active Associate Appian Developer Certification.
  • 12 years of general IT experience
  • Strong understanding of BPM, SDLC, and Appian architecture.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred).
  • Excellent problemsolving, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Able to work independently and communicate with leadership
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clearance Level: Secret or Top Secret
  • Experience with Appian plugins, Web APIs, and integration with external systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background in consulting or clientfacing roles.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) in Appian deployments.
  • Familiarity with Appian Government Acquisition Management suite (GAMS)
