Job description

Title: Sr. Full Stack/Appian Developer.

Location:  Euless, TX 75261 (On-Site).

Duration: 12+ Months Contract.

While on Contract Client will be paying (Plus 8 paid holidays and 15 days PTO)

Must have some exposure to Appian and the ability to learn Appian development, Appian SAIL, Appian integrations, and Appian DevOps processes, if don’t already possess these skills.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack/Appian Developer. The developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying business process management (BPM) applications using the Appian platform while ensuring robust integration with Salesforce. This role requires a blend of low-code application development, database design, and performance optimization skills to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

Required Experience (5+ years):

  • Experience configuring reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
  • Experience with Salesforce data management tools (Data Loader, import wizards).
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Appian low code development concepts, including interfaces, process models, records, and data types.
  • Ability to navigate Appian Designer and work with standard Appian components under guidance.
  • Experience building or modifying applications, forms, or workflow automations.
  • Understanding of Appian best practices for application design, performance, and maintainability.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on Appian development experience, including Appian SAIL, process models, and Appian plug-ins.
  • Experience with Appian integrations (e.g., web services, REST APIs, Appian-Oracle connectors).
  • Experience building or modifying simple Appian applications, forms, or workflow automations.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, etc.).

Required Certification:

  • Cloud platforms - Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform

Preferred Certifications:

  • Appian Certified Associate Developer or Appian Certified Senior Developer
  • Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate
  • Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional (OCP)

 Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy Appian BPM applications, including process models, rules, interfaces, integrations, and data structures.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and analysts to translate requirements into functional Appian solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Appian and Salesforce, ensuring data consistency and high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices for database normalization, indexing, performance tuning, and security.
  • Troubleshoot application and database issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Document technical designs, workflows, and configurations for both Appian and Salesforce applications.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing within the team.
