Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced International Sales & Marketing Manager to drive global business development and sales growth within the oil and gas industry. This role is responsible for developing and executing international sales strategies, expanding market share, and building long-term relationships with customers across multiple global regions, with a strong emphasis on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The ideal candidate has a proven track record selling wellhead equipment, valves, BOPs, drilling equipment, or related upstream oil and gas products. Success in this role requires strong technical aptitude, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop new business while managing strategic customer relationships.

This position requires a U.S. citizen who is comfortable traveling internationally to support customers and expand business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute international sales and market growth strategies across targeted global regions.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Manage key accounts within the upstream oil and gas drilling industry.
  • Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and technical sales discussions.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, engineering, and operations teams to support customer needs and market expansion.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead international sales initiatives and coordinate projects supporting global business development.
  • Travel domestically and internationally (approximately 10–30%) to meet with customers, attend industry events, and strengthen client relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen.
  • Minimum of 5 years of international sales and business development experience.
  • Experience selling into the oil and gas industry, preferably upstream drilling operations.
  • Demonstrated success developing international markets and managing direct sales channels.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling wellhead equipment, valves, blowout preventers (BOPs), drilling equipment, or other pressure control products.
  • Established customer relationships within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
  • Mechanical aptitude or technical understanding of drilling and production equipment.
  • Experience developing and implementing international marketing strategies.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
