Starting Annual Salary - $75,517 to $94,396 - Actual starting salary will depend on experience.
Position is Incentive amp; Bonus eligible
Position Summary: Financial Center Manager

AmeriCU Credit Union is seeking a driven and people-focused Financial Center Manager to lead branch operations, sales performance, and team development.

This role is responsible for overseeing daily financial center operations, coaching staff, and driving member relationships while achieving deposit, loan, and service goals. The Financial Center Manager plays a critical role in delivering exceptional member experiences and building a strong, high-performing team culture.


Key Responsibilities: Financial Center ManagerLeadership, Sales amp; Coaching
  • Lead, coach, and develop Financial Center staff to achieve sales, service, and operational goals
  • Foster a high-energy, member-focused service and sales culture
  • Monitor performance and hold team members accountable to goals and KPIs
  • Conduct regular team meetings, huddles, and performance conversations
  • Recognize and reward performance while driving continuous improvement
  • Train staff to identify opportunities to deepen member relationships and recommend solutions

Business Development amp; Member Experience
  • Build, retain, and expand member relationships through consultative service
  • Participate in community and business development initiatives
  • Develop relationships with internal partners and external referral sources
  • Promote and implement programs that support member growth and engagement
  • Handle escalated member concerns with professionalism and resolution focus

Operations amp; Financial Management
  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
  • Ensure the Financial Center remains audit-ready, including cash controls and reporting requirements
  • Support lending, account servicing, and transaction activities as needed
  • Manage Financial Center profitability, including loan and deposit production goals
  • Prepare and manage the branch operating budget and explain variances
  • Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency

Team Management amp; Culture
  • Create an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and engaged
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and development planning
  • Partner with HR on employee relations and performance management matters
  • Serve as a role model of AmeriCU’s MVP-1 culture and values

Compliance amp; Risk
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance requirements, including BSA and SAFE Act
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting practices
  • Obtain Notary Public designation and Medallion Signature Guarantee certification within 12 months

Qualifications: Financial Center Manager
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in banking, sales, lending, or financial services operations
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Retail banking operations
    • Member service and sales practices
    • Lending products and processes
  • Proven ability to:
    • Lead teams and drive performance
    • Build relationships and grow business
    • Manage operations and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays
