Admin Assistant

The Admin Assistant is responsible for maintaining compliance and coordinating of all telephone calls.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Communicates effectively on the telephone with patients, families and staff.
  • Answer the telephone and assist callers to ensure we "close the loop" with all clients and caregivers inquiries.
  • Manages incoming, outgoing and interoffice mail.
  • Monitor caregiver files for compliance and proactively update credentials, certifications, and required documentation as necessary.
  • Notifies supervisor of issues requiring higher- level resolution.
  • Complies with all applicable Policies and Procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a high school graduate. Some college or business schools are a plus.
  • Exceptional telephone communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with elderly individuals and with para-professional caregivers.
  • Attention to detail, along with excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, and Excel applications and Google Suite.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines.
