Job description

Snelling is currently recruiting a Front Desk Administrator to join a well-established law firm in the Birmingham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional, organized, and customer-service-oriented individual looking to work in a professional office environment. The Front Desk Administrator will serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. This individual will be responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment while providing general administrative support to the legal team.
 
Pay: $17.00-18.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 8-5, Friday, 8-4
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer direct incoming phone calls and take accurate messages.
  • Manage and maintain an organized and professional reception area.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Assist in scheduling and calendar management as needed.
  • Maintain office supplies and assist with ordering materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Support the office with other administrative duties as needed.
  • Light cleaning of common areas ( breakrooms, restrooms, refrigerators)
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, receptionist, or customer service role preferred.
  • Previous experience in a professional office environment is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
  • 1-2 years of legal prefiling experience
