Jockey is seeking a HRIS Specialist to join our HR team!

JOB EXPECTATIONS
• Serve as part of the HRIS team with hands-on administration of the HRIS platform (UKG) and provide cross-functional support for all associated modules (Core/Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation Management, Benefits Administration; Workforce Management)
• Assist with system configuration, security permissions, workflow rules, and testing of regular system updates, patches, and integrations.
• Processes high volume data and mass imports while ensuring accuracy.
• Conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of data within the HRIS, resolving inconsistencies or errors in a timely manner.
• Ensure absolute data privacy and strict adherence to internal controls.
• Design, build, and run standard and ad hoc queries, scheduled reports, and alerts within the system.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand system requirements, develop solutions to meet their needs, optimize system usage, and make recommendations for process improvements.
• Prepare end-user documentation and training materials as needed.
• Act as the primary contact for HRIS-related questions regarding system navigation and reports and provide timely resolution or escalate issues as necessary.
• Serve as primary support/backup for payroll processing, ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience administering HRIS platforms (UKG preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency using data analysis and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Cognos Business Intelligence, or other HR analytic platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot trends, anomalies, and data gaps quickly.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system issues and provide user support.
• A strong understanding of core HR operations, compliance, and data protection requirements, and how different HR functions intersect within the system.
• Self-starter, with strong communication skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with UKG releases and best practices.
• Strong discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information.
