The Role

Looking for an opportunity to leverage your consulting expertise in a post-implementation capacity within the life sciences industry? Veeva Systems is seeking a Managed Services Consultant for our Align team. As a Managed Services Consultant, Align, you will be a key member of our Managed Services team, providing ongoing application administration and consulting support for customers live with Veeva Align. You will serve as a subject matter expert for Veeva Align, working remotely with multiple clients via phone and web meeting to support their territory alignments and related processes. This role requires a blend of product expertise, consulting acumen, and a passion for customer success in the life sciences industry. This is a remote, full-time, permanent role, supporting multiple clients in a shared, dedicated capacity.

This is a customer-facing role. Veeva Systems does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, OPT) for this employment position.

What You'll Do
  • Provide ongoing consulting and expert administrative support for multiple Veeva Align clients.
  • Lead quarterly territory alignment and targeting execution, including impact analysis, configuration, communication, and change management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date roster data and assignments for consumption by CRM and other downstream systems.
  • Maintain large datasets related to territory alignment and roster management, ensuring data quality and managing upstream/downstream integrations.
  • Consult on best practices and overall solutions tailored for each customer's unique Veeva Align requirements.
  • Configure new Veeva Align functionalities and incorporate them into the customers' business processes.
  • Create reports and dashboards.
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve client-reported issues.
  • Manage client interactions, set expectations, and provide clear, effective communication.
  • Develop subject matter expertise on the Life Sciences industry and the Veeva solutions, particularly Veeva Align.
  • Grow the capabilities of the team, develop best practices.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives, knowledge sharing, and best practice development.
  • Uphold the Veeva Vision and Values, including "Do the Right Thing" and "Customer Success".
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently in support of multiple clients.
  • Hands-on experience with data management and/or process analysis. Typically, very skilled with MS Excel for smaller data sets and MS Access or SQL for larger datasets.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as the position is client-facing.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Veeva Systems does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
Nice to Have
  • Product knowledge: 2+ years of experience with Sales Territory Alignment Software or territory alignments within a CRM (and preferably experience with Salesforce.com).
  • Knowledge and applicable work experience in the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry.
  • Business knowledge for sales and marketing territory alignments and sales cycle planning.
  • Understanding of how Master Data Management systems work.
  • Exposure to the following technical disciplines: Web Services, ETL, SQL, Force.com.
  • Consulting experience.
  • Experience with other Veeva applications (e.g., Veeva CRM, Vault CRM, Veeva Network MDM).

Compensation
  • Base pay: $70,000 – $140,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
