Job description

Mammography Technologist

We are currently hiring a full-time Mammography Technologist to join our team!

In this role, you'll combine your technical excellence, clinical judgment, and compassionate patient care to perform high-quality mammograms while working closely with dedicated a dedicated team in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The Mammography Technologist performs 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office. Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
  • Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
  • Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms
  • Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
  • Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
  • Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
  • Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
  • Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
  • ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
  • ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
  • Maintain registry status and continuing education.
  • Minimum two years of mammography experience
