Job Summary
The Chief Technologist of Mammography:
  • Coordinates clinical and managerial activities within the mammographic suites and satellite areas of the Radiology Department in order to provide quality care.
  • Works collaboratively with the Operations Manager, and Chief of Breast Imaging, as well as other leadership within the Radiology Dept. to ensure quality patient care.
  • Maintains an exemplary working relationship with physicians, staff, departments, Hospital teams, and administrators.
  • Maximizes efficiency of the department through effective planning, daily organization, and delegation of assignments.
  • Assures compliance with standards set forth by the federal, state, TJC, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Fulfills the Hospital mission by providing state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies for patient care in a compassionate and timely manner while maintaining a fiscal responsibility to the institution.
  • Manages day-to-day operations, budget development, financial performance and maintenance of clinical relationships.

Education Requirements
  • 4 year/Bachelor's Degree - OR - Actively enrolled in obtaining degree

Experience
  • Minimum 3 Years Experience Required
  • Familiarity with ACR & MQSA Required

Certification and Licensure
  • ARRT Certification and registration, advanced level certification in Mammography
  • BLS Certification
  • CPR Certification
