Job description

The Senior Marketing Manager, Strategic Customer Segments, is responsible for developing and executing the commercial marketing strategy to engage hospital executives and administrative decision-makers across the Mako SmartRobotics and Mako RPS portfolio across various sites of case. In this role, you will drive awareness, consideration, and capital purchasing decisions among value analysis committees (VACs), CEOs, CFOs, COOs, service line leaders, and other key stakeholders by articulating the clinical, operational, and financial value of Stryker’s enabling technologies.

What you will do
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated national marketing campaigns aligned with the capital funnel strategy, including digital engagement, advertising, executive-focused content, and high-impact customer experiences.

  • Develop compelling economic value tools and resources, including ROI calculators, business case templates, and health economic materials that demonstrate the institutional value and impact of Mako technologies.

  • Establish and cultivate a strong network of executive reference sites and administrative faculty to enable peer-to-peer engagement, support customer programs, and strengthen executive advocacy.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, GAMA & Health Economics, Medical Education, Commercial Excellence, and downstream marketing teams to ensure a coordinated and integrated go-to-market approach.

  • Develop strategies and programs that influence hospital investment decisions, strengthen the business case for Mako technologies, and support the broader capital sales strategy.

  • Drive initiatives that accelerate adoption and growth of the Mako portfolio by aligning customer needs, economic value messaging, executive engagement, and commercial priorities.

  • Translate complex clinical, economic, and business insights into clear, compelling marketing strategies and customer-facing content that resonate with hospital executives and key decision-makers.

What you need Required
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 10 years of work experience

  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience

Preferred
  • MBA

  • Minimum 7 years in the medical device industry

  • Demonstrated marketing experience within the healthcare/medical device industry

  • Experience engaging with and selling to C-suite and executive-level stakeholders highly preferred
