About The Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of all equipment and systems at Ernesta's fabrication facility in Cartersville, GA. This is a hands-on role that keeps our production running smoothly and safely every day.  The maintenance supervisor will also be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and growing the maintenance technician position and any future positions assigned to the maintenance department

What You'll Do
  • Manage, implement, and delegate maintenance work order assignments accordingly.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all fabrication equipment, including air tables, serging machines, cut tables, and forklifts
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair compressed air systems, including lines, regulators, fittings, and pneumatic components throughout the facility
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize production downtime
  • Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and coordinate or perform scheduled service and safety checks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain cut tables and air table systems, ensuring proper airflow, surface integrity, and mechanical function
  • Service and troubleshoot serging machines, escalating to vendor support when needed and maintaining documentation of recurring issues
  • Identify and maintain an appropriate inventory of critical spare parts to support rapid repairs
  • Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and equipment manuals to diagnose root causes and guide repairs
  • Report equipment deficiencies, irregularities, and unsafe conditions promptly to management
  • Support facility improvement projects, including building out new structures or workstations as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
  • Attend training related to production, safety, and equipment for continued professional development
  • Work with Process Engineering to implement 5S and safety initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned by the management team of the facility 
Key Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
  • Industrial millwright or electrician license a strong plus
  • Experience with pneumatic/compressed air systems required
  • Familiarity with forklift maintenance and safety inspection procedures
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot a wide range of equipment
  • Proven self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be directed
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production staff
  • Takes pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe workspace
