Job description

Maintenance crewmembers support all Crewmembers by helping to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace. They work to ensure that all areas of the plant are ready for production and free of debris. Maintenance crewmembers clean, store, and distribute plant supplies and storage units. They work quickly and diligently, but always in a safe manner.
Once hired, you will be trained in your area of expertise to ensure your capability and understanding of safety and sanitation. You will be trained on our plant standards and you will contribute and excel in a team service environment. You will be responsible for following all company standards and guidelines, and performs opening, on-going, and closing side-work duties.
Skills & Requirements
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to communicate in written English
  • High School graduate/GED
  • Ability to work quickly and prioritize tasks

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Clean all storage totes and prepare for use
  • Empty trash from all areas of plant and prepare trash for daily pickup
  • Keep all active totes and bins properly iced
  • Assist in keeping all areas of plant clean and organized
  • Work with closing manager to clean and prepare plant for following shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; 15-20 is typical
  • Ability to carry up to 150 feet
  • Ability to reach up to 6 feet; typical is 2-6 feet
