Maintenance Technician

Join the Southwestern Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Team!

What you’ll do at Southwestern Nursing and Rehabilitation:

Working with our maintenance director, you’ll perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance. In the areas of mechanical systems, electric, and plumbing. This can include communication systems, water and waste, lighting and electricity systems, landscaping/snow removal, etc. May need to be on call every other weekend. You’ll also perform duties with components of utility systems and establish and maintain good working rapport and cooperation with our clinical teams.

About you (requirements):

Our Maintenance Tech must meet the following:

  • Trade or vocational school grad preferred

  • Current/valid driver’s license

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in various maintenance trade, preferred

  • Mut be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 4 ft.

  • Previous environmental or maintenance service in health care or a long-term care setting preferred.
