Job description

Maintenance Supervisor

This position supervises the Maintenance Unit of the Facilities Department and provides services necessary to support the Facilities operation of AZ State Courts buildings. Coordinates services for the Maintenance unit, dispatching staff for the repair and maintenance of building systems, carpentry services, plumbing and electrical services, assembly of modular workstations and set-up of rooms for conferences. Performs moderate to difficult in-house tenant improvement projects relating to construction.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and four years of related maintenance experience in a commercial/industrial environment or the equivalent. Supervisory experience. Familiarity with blueprints, sketches and structural components of buildings and related utilities services systems. Demonstrated proficiency in assisting customers in the resolution of building maintenance issues and providing customers with a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Knowledge of the different types of refrigeration units, test equipment common to the refrigeration trade, and electrical circuitry that activates refrigeration units, and experience with tools, equipment and materials related to the refrigeration trade.
