Job Summary:
As a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the industrial machinery and equipment that powers our production operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery, equipment, and systems
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues
- Document all maintenance activities and work orders
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain high levels of output
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Certified Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial machine repair
- Proficient in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of production equipment
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work a 3rd shift schedule  (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Working Conditions:
This position is based in our active manufacturing facility, which may involve standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working with heavy machinery. A 3rd shift schedule (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
90 day contract to hire position.  We offer a competitive hourly rate of $28 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
