Essential Job Duties:


ยท Must be able to work on and understand hydraulic systems and be able to fabricate.

ยท Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the buildings, grounds and equipment.

ยท Demonstrated knowledge in the repair of large industrial equipment in industrial facilities.

ยท Must be able to make complex repairs to steel processing equipment and the have ability to lead others to completion of said repairs.

ยท Must be able to climb, work in elevated areas and work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications:


ยท Have a minimum of six (6) years of documented experience in related field.

ยท Pass the Mechanical Technician C test with a seventy percent (70%) overall score, forty two (42) out of sixty (60) questions.


Education:


ยท High School Diploma or equivalent required

ยท No later than two (2) years of hire date, the Mechanical Technician C shall take the Millwright Journeyman test to become a Millwright B.

ยท Once the classification of Millwright B has been achieved, an Associateโ€™s Degree in Industrial Maintenance must be obtained to become a Millwright A from approved academic provider.
