We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our client in the Construction Service domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Permanent position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: Full-time

Location: Grand Island, NE

Salary: $70,000/Annually

Shift: 2nd Shift - 4:30pm - 3:00am

Role: Maintenance Mechanic

Primary Skills: Engineering

Role Description: The Maintenance Mechanic must have 3-5 years of experience. Client is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic. In this position, you will perform general maintenance and repairs on facility and industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

- Mechanical knowledge, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and some basic electrical is required.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills.

- Familiar with OSHA safety standards and regulations.

- Basic welding experience preferred but not required

- Previous work exposure as a Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent.

- Basic computer, strong math and report writing skills.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

- Safety is a relentless journey at the company. You must follow proven safety practices, look out for teammates and seek improvements that will enhance our safety culture.

- Troubleshoots and repairs industrial equipment.

- Performs preventative maintenance inspections and makes necessary repairs on equipment.

- Installs wiring, conduit, etc.

- Accurately reads equipment manuals, drawings, micrometers, calipers and tape measures, in making repair and adjustments.

- Available to perform construction, plumbing, concrete and carpentry for building repair or reconstruction.

- Requisitions needed parts and supplies.

- Good time management and communication skills.

- Capable of working at heights of 20โ€™.

- Capable of working with minimal supervision.

- Properly complete all routine paperwork and computer data entry related to the job responsibilities.

Education: High School Diploma OR GED equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
