What You'll DoAs a
Maintenance Technician / Millwright, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. You'll play a critical role in supporting production uptime, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
In this role, you will:
- Perform routine  maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systemsÂ
- Install systems and components in accordance with Oregon electrical codes and company standardsÂ
- Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC drives, PLC-based control systems, instrumentation, and electrical equipmentÂ
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC ladder logic documentationÂ
- Layout, build, and wire small to medium-sized electrical control panelsÂ
- Program, calibrate, and troubleshoot instruments and controllersÂ
- Identify electrical deficiencies and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment downtimeÂ
- Create, manage, and complete maintenance work orders accurately and efficientlyÂ
- Specify and coordinate procurement of electrical components and replacement partsÂ
- Respond to emergency electrical issues and support plant operations as neededÂ
- Follow Lean manufacturing principles including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiativesÂ
- Maintain safe work practices, including lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety standards
Requirements
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a skilled electrician with strong troubleshooting abilities, industrial electrical experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Three (3) years of electrical experience and/or Millwright experience in an industrial or manufacturing environmentÂ
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and industrial equipmentÂ
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentationÂ
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety practicesÂ
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectivelyÂ
- Strong communication and teamwork skillsÂ
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, drives, instrumentation, and automation systemsÂ
- Experience building and wiring electrical control panelsÂ
- Computer proficiency and experience with maintenance management systemsÂ
- Experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environmentÂ
Your Work Schedule
This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday. Schedule flexibility may be required to support emergency maintenance activities and production needs, including occasional after-hours response.
