We are in search of a Maintenance Director within the organization:

To provide direction and support for the Maintenance department, to include planning, organizing, staffing and supervising departmental operations and in the maintenance of the physical plant to include interior and exterior of building, heating and cooling system and departmental equipment. Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other related departments. Supervise maintenance assistant, if applicable. Maintain appropriate documentation and coordinate personnel actions with the Administrator.

- Participates in Department Head and corporate meetings as scheduled.

- Work with facility management team in a collaborative manner.

- Serve as Weekend Manager as scheduled.

- Respond to emergency situations as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Training and experience in environmental control, physical plant maintenance and operation and repair of required maintenance equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, generators, plumbing, electrical and security systems
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in maintenance or related field
  • Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job
