About the Role:

The Controller plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting of the organization to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management. This position is responsible for managing accounting functions, budgeting processes, and internal controls to support sound financial decision-making. The Controller will collaborate closely with executive leadership to provide insightful financial analysis and forecasts that drive business growth and operational efficiency. Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies is a key aspect of this role, safeguarding the organization's financial integrity. Ultimately, the Controller contributes to the long-term financial health and sustainability of the company by maintaining robust financial systems and guiding fiscal strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
  • Organize financials between multiple entities to ensure clean transactions throughout.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to align financial plans with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings, ensuring all documentation and schedules are complete and accurate.
