Job description

Position Summary

Mainstream Engineering is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our nine-building, 100,000-square-foot manufacturing and office campus. This is a hands-on role for a versatile maintenance professional who enjoys solving problems, working with a variety of building systems, and tackling new challenges each day.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and has experience performing general facility maintenance across multiple trades. Electrical experience is required, and additional experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building and property maintenance is highly valued.

Working alongside our Facilities team, you'll help ensure our buildings, grounds, and equipment remain safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Position Requirements

  • Experience performing general facilities maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or similar environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on a variety of building systems and equipment.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and common maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
  • Working knowledge of one or more skilled trades, such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or general building maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented, and "can-do" attitude.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to read and communicate in English required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
