  • Technology Adoption and Enablement: Work closely with customers to understand deployment requirements, operational constraints, and adoption barriers for new HDD technologies, helping ensure successful introduction of new products and capabilities.
  • Customer and Infrastructure Engagement: Engage directly with cloud infrastructure architects, storage teams, and technical decision makers to understand workload requirements, storage architectures, operational challenges, and future infrastructure needs
  • QTR and Roadmap Positioning: Craft and communicate roadmap narratives that connect Seagate's technology investments to customer outcomes, ensuring content is technically credible, strategically aligned, and relevant to the audience.
  • Portfolio and Segment Alignment: Contribute to roadmap and portfolio technical content for mainstream cloud customers and guide alignment with the China segment team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Roadmap, Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and CTO/Architecture to support roadmap execution and customer alignment.
  • Customer Capability Planning: Help define customer capability objectives and next actions that align Seagate responses to customer needs.
  • Technical Roadmap Influence: Apply deep understanding of storage technologies, HDD deployment models, and cloud infrastructure environments to assess customer requirements, identify opportunities, and influence roadmap priorities.

About you:
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, storage architectures, and the operational environments in which HDDs are deployed.
  • Able to engage credibly with infrastructure architects, storage engineers, and technical decision makers while translating technical requirements into business and roadmap recommendations.
  • Strong problem solver who seeks to understand underlying customer challenges and develop scalable solutions rather than simply advocating for individual feature requests.
  • Exercises sound judgment in customer-facing discussions, balancing transparency, roadmap positioning, and business objectives.
  • Able to connect customer requirements, market needs, and technical inputs into clear roadmap recommendations.
  • Comfortable working across Product Roadmap, Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and regional segment teams.
  • Strong collaborator who can support alignment across mainstream cloud and China segment needs.
  • Focused on creating clarity, consistency, and actionability in roadmap planning and customer-facing content.

Your experience includes:
  • Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, storage, data center technologies, product management, technical marketing, or related technical leadership roles.
  • Experience deploying, operating, supporting, or architecting storage solutions within cloud, hyperscale, enterprise, or data center environments.
  • Strong understanding of HDD technologies and the interaction between storage devices, system software, and cloud infrastructure architectures.
